I love the insight with splashes of humour at http://authorkristenlamb.com/ . She writes interesting posts packed with great advice and tips, and breaks them up nicely with images and meme's. As a mum of two boys who do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu her post about why pain and wounds are vital for fiction particularly caught my attention. Hop on over and check it out at http://authorkristenlamb.com/2017/11/woundedpeople/ and you'll see why.
https://writetodone.com/ has a wide variety of content. Their article 67 Top Tools for Writers and Bloggers in 2018 is an awesome resource https://writetodone.com/top-writing-blogging-tools/
https://thewritelife.com/ is an excellent resource particularly for freelance writers. If you're looking to make money as a freelance writer check out their post https://thewritelife.com/publications-that-pay/. they also have posts on site for authors, and include topics about book marketing, and publishing.
https://thewritepractice.com/ has some excellent articles on site including this one about building your author website https://thewritepractice.com/building-an-author-website/
https://www.thecreativepenn.com/blog/ has been a site I revisit for years now. Joanna Penn offers great behind the scenes insight into the publishing industry. An example of such a post is this one about crowdfunding a book https://www.thecreativepenn.com/2017/11/24/crowdfunding-book-authors/
http://positivewriter.com/ is another site I come back to time and time again. Want more attention in 2018? Check out this post http://positivewriter.com/why-no-one-is-paying-attention-to-you-and-how-to-change-it/
