Starting with essential questions like "why do you want to write a book?" she goes on to cover tips for new writers where she includes a list of things writers can do even before they reach the end of their final draft in order to move themselves ahead.

Breaking down the types of publishing with a list of the Pro's and Con's of each the author gives insight into her own experience of self publishing.

Other sections include priceless information and advice on topics like creating a press kit (with a detailed description of what to include), a look at social media and how to create your on-line presence and blogging.

You'll also find a chapter dedicated to publishing lingo covering the most important terms used in the industry, before moving on to book proposals, marketing, editing, writers conferences, types of genre, identifying your audience, creating and selling an ebook, writing articles, newsletters, setting goals, getting endorsements and a whole host of other great information.

This book is a must-have for anyone considering on entering the writing industry. It's easy to read and simple to follow the steps covered in each section. Don't be fooled into thinking it's just for newbie writers either. This book is a gold mine of information and ideas that will be of use even to the more experienced writer. I highly recommend this book and will definitely be referring back to it as I work on my own writing projects.
