I wish you would have talked more about writing for other people's blogs. There is a lot involved in this so that you don't get ripped off, its very hard to do effectively and unless you know what you are up against it's not a good idea to just jump in.
ReplyDeleteAlso, freelance sites are a good way to get your feet wet but I have found they often don't pay very much since jobs are usually based on a bidding system. If someone is outside the US, say Mexico, they don't mind bidding $200 to write a novel, with the exchange rate that's pretty good pay. This outsourcing makes it hard to get decent work on these sites, so in the long run most of them are not worth it.
