Tell us a bit about your book JOURNEY FROM HEAD TO HEART:LIVING AND WORKING AUTHENTICALLY
JOURNEY FROM HEAD TO HEART: LIVING AND WORKING AUTHENTICALLY is written from my own 10-year journey to find and live my life from the spiritual disciplines of love, truth, faith, and enlightenment. So many books talk about these topics, but few of them give such a clear roadmap with tools that work for people to create the lives they truly want. Early in the book I use the analogy of the Lewis and Clark expedition. It took them two years to travel from St. Louis to the Oregon coast. The terrain was unfamiliar; they stopped along the way to make friends with the natives and to draw maps and collect specimen. Their return trip took only 6 months. Why? Because they were able to use what they had learned on the trip out. Today, continuously building on this beginning, you and I can make that same journey in a matter of a few hours.
My journey inward took 10 years. My goal is to shorten that period of time for others through this book so that others might spend more time in "happily ever after."
Who is your book designed for?
JOURNEY FROM HEAD TO HEART: LIVING AND WORKING AUTHENTICALLY is for people who are tired of seeking and ready to find their best lives and enjoy living. It's a guidebook for making the small shifts that yield big results through minimizing ego and expanding the authentic, true, best self.
You also do coaching. Why do you think it's important to educate people in problem solving?
My coaching is not so much about problem solving as it is about energy-shifting. I teach people to free themselves of fear, resentment, anger, and other negative, minimizing energies. They learn to be empowered through the disciplines of surrender, forgiveness, faith, and affirming what they truly want from life. The shifts they make through the coaching process permeate their entire lives--from how they treat and talk to themselves to their relationships and ultimately their business or career success.
Where can people find out more about you and your work?
My web site is www.HeadtoHeart.com
Anything else you'd like to add?
I love to think of this book on bedside tables and in bathrooms, being picked up and referred to often as life's challenges present themselves. It is a lifetime companion--an enjoyable first read and then thereafter, a treasured reference.
Thank you for your good questions.
